Pet care experience
Hello My name is Ariana and I am a die hard animal lover. Small and slimy to big and furry. I would love to care for your family mascot while you are away. I have been a Veterinary industry 7 years and recently graduated with my Veterinary Technician Certification. Whether your family member is small or big, healthy or sick, young or old I will keep him happy when you’re away. I am comfortable with animals in need of daily fluids, medications or special needs. In addition to my experience in vet med I worked for a careless doggy daycare in Mill Valley and was an assistant dog trainer. Why I love dog sitting I have grown up with dogs since I was little. When I wasn't able to have one of my own I always had a family member or another with a k9 friend to get my fix. I love all breads from Boston Terrier, Frenchies, Chihuahuas, Cavaliers to Rotties, Mastiffs, Pitts, German Shepherds, and Great Danes. I currently have a German Shepherd who is well cared for at home while I’m away.

When staying overnight in your home I consider my job as a dog sitter to also be house sitter. I collect your mail, bring out trash bins on garbage day. I leave your house as close to as clean as you left it considering there’s animals living in the home. I pick up the yard and even throw your sheets in the wash if you’d like. I keep your house secure and your pets feeling safe and cared for.

1:Are there any health precautions I need to take. 2:Are there any places on your pet they don’t like to be touched or activity that they are more than reluctant to do. 3:Is he/her dog friendly. 4: Are there any predictable triggers? 5: Are there any allergies? 6: possibly naughty behaviors? 7: Any history of major illnesses or surgeries?
A typical day
I love to go on trail hikes throughout Marin County but particularly out in West Marin. I am a huge fan of the chuck it (whoever invented that is a genius) and snuggling on the couch. Some of my favorite places for the weekends are Phoenix Lake, San Geronimo Golf Course, and Bel Marin Keys. I’m not a huge fan of dog parks when it’s not my dog as I don’t want to risk your dogs safety in unpredictable situations on my watch. I’m more than happy to have family or friends pets over for play dates. I love to work on behavioral training and commands with puppies.

Availability
I currently work at a Pet Emergency and Specialty Surgery Hospital. I work the day shift and would always be home overnight. I’m willing and able to go on good walk in the morning and a long walk in the afternoon. I’m unable to go to the house mid day due to the nature of my work so outdoor access, a dog walker, or it’s not needed would have to be considered. If your pet is comfortable in the car and friendly enough with other dogs/people in passing I would love to go on a hike on the weekends.
