Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with Ariana. Ariana kindly agreed to sit my pup Winnie for one night with only two days warning. I made the booking, paying Ariana's nightly rate. On the evening before I left for my trip, Ariana contacted me saying that since she was going to stay the night, she wanted to charge me extra. She charged me $20 extra, on top of what I had already paid. I asked if we could change it to a $10 increase, but she was clear that wasn’t going to lower the rate. Since I didn't have another option besides canceling my trip, I agreed to the change, and paid $50 total for one night of care. Ariana said she would arrive at noon the next day, so I left Winnie in her kennel when I left the house at 6am. I texted Ariana at 9am to confirm, and again around 2pm when I didn't hear from her. I didn't hear from Ariana until about 5:30pm. She said she was just getting to my apartment. Winnie had been left alone in her kennel for over 11 hours, something I would never do as a dog owner. I can't comment on her care while she was at my apartment, but I know that I was anxious for Winnie's wellbeing the whole time. $50 for such minimal care and so much time alone is unacceptable.
