Pet care experience
My name is Ariana and I am a nursing student at ECU! Growing up, I pet sat for almost all of my neighbors whenever they needed an extra hand or someone to watch their animals while they were on vacation. I have always loved taking care of animals and know that your pet is your best friend, and that makes their happiness and yours my top priority! I have two bengal cats of my own, named Romeo and Roya. They bring so much joy to my life and with that being said, I know the value that pets are to a family. I have 10+ years of experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. I grew up with cats and dogs in the house, and also spent time volunteering at an animal shelter as a teenager. I enjoy running and walking with dogs and playing with them, so you can be assured your pet will get lots of attention and love. I also have done my fair share of research on animal behavior, and believe that positive reinforcement is the most important component in animal training. I am able to do drop ins, walks/runs with dogs, and spend time playing with your pet. Outside of school, I also have a small house plant collection and an outdoor garden, so I am confident in my abilities to house sit and plant sit as well! Ariana was phenomenal and a joy to work with! She did an amazing job with our 2 dogs for 4 days. We could tell the pups had a great time and they were excited to see her from the start. She was caring, thoughtful and a great communicator! Knowing they were in good hands allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry. I would highly recommend her and will rebook with her in the future.
Ariana was do helpful and accommodating! She was on time and kept me updated with plenty of photos and detailed info on what she did at each visit. She brought in packages for us and was always willing to go above and beyond! We are definitely going to request her again!

Because I have two cats, I will not be providing services in my own apartment. This reduces stress both on your animals and mine. I am able to make frequent trips to your home to care for your pets and their needs. I believe in positive reinforcement for training and rewards for good behavior including owner-approved treats, belly rubs, pats and cuddles. A positive, low-stress environment is important for the health and wellbeing of all animals. I feel comfortable feeding both cats and dogs wet or dry food, and I am also comfortable administering medication if necessary.

Please let me know if your dog or cat has any behavioral or medical conditions I should be aware of prior to entering your home. Also let me know what your normal daily routine is with your pet (how frequent are walks, how frequently do you change the litter box, clean water/food bowls, etc)
A typical day
I would be happy to take your dog to local parks, around the neighborhood, wherever your dog is used to walking and wherever you are comfortable with me taking them! Dogs love to play fetch, chase, and explore! For cats, I would spend time playing each visit with provided feather wands, balls to chase, or laser pointers.

Availability
I am in class on Mondays from 10am-4pm, but I can always schedule around those times! Aside from that my schedule is open! In caring for pets daily, I would be able to make an early morning visit, a mid-afternoon visit, and then again in the evening. For dogs, I could play and do walks at any of those times.
