Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my entire life and have volunteered at shelters throughout the years. I had German Shepherds my entire life, but love animals of all sizes and breeds. I have a background in wildlife science, and have worked with various wildlife species throughout the past few years. I'm passionate, kind-hearted, ambitious, and love being outside. I do not have a pet of my own, but I'm looking forward to spoiling and loving on your pup while you're away from home! For over a year I fostered 8-12 week old puppies that were rescued from high-kill shelters in the south, so if you have a new, rambunctious puppy on your hands I'm here to help.

I'm always very careful when entering and exiting your home, to make sure your pet doesn't secretly sneak by in the process. I have a fenced-in yard, with brand new fending and landscaping if you would prefer an off-sote stay. If needed, I will gladly water plants and check your mail for you on extended stays!

I have no breed preferences, but do ask to know any quirks your pup may have. If you have a training routine while walking, their behavior around strange people or dogs, if they're up-to-date on shots, medical needs, etc. The more I know about your pup, the better I can tailor their experience to make them the most comfortable and happy overall. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats, and will be unable to assist in those homes where they are present.
A typical day
I live just across the street from Central Park and several walking trails that can never be explored too much! If your pet has a favorite toy, I love playing with them in your home/yard or along the walk on-leash if the toy is allowed outside.

Availability
I work full-time during the week, with sometimes unpredictable and long hours. Weekends are my best availability and allows you to go away on quick weekend trips when needed!
