I've been pet sitting for around 6 years now, I've boarded for couple pets. But for the most part I've done dog care day by day at the pet owners home, or just drop ins. My work schedule is fairly flexible so being available for the pets and taking care of them isn't hard to work with at all. As long as I know the schedule in advanced there's no problem, I can do last minute calls but scheduled in advance works better for me. If I'm taking care of the pet in my home, I have a big fenced in yard dogs could run and play in and plenty of toys for them. Of course I have dog food and water provided and a bed for them. As far a sitting and taking care in the clients home, I would clean up after the pets, play with them, take them for walks, feed, along with any other needs the pet owner asks of me.
