I am passionate about animals and have grown up with dogs for my entire life. I am certified in animal-assisted social work from the University of Denver and am dedicated to animal welfare and ethics. I currently do not have any dogs of my own, though I do have cat that I love dearly. The connection between humans and animals is one of the most fundamental bonds that human beings experience. I am privileged to have the opportunity to assist in the care and compassion towards your pets when you are away from them. Currently, I am home full time so have open availability to walk dogs and do drop-in visits. On walks, I will demonstrate compassion and respect to you and your pet by providing breaks in walking when your dog appears tired or uncomfortable, water breaks, bathroom breaks and clean-up, and lots of praise for good behavior. In addition, I am available for drop-in visits to check in on your dog/cat while you are away to ensure they have water, food, and are in good health. A typical day
There are nice walking trails around my neighborhood and a doggy park directly across from my apartment unit within my apartment complex. Dog park visits will depend on dog temperament and approval of owner. Potty breaks will be given at least every 2 hours. Your pet will be treated with the utmost compassion and respect.
