Pet care experience
Although I didn’t grow up with pets, I learned how to take care of different animals through different opportunities from friends, family, and my own experience with my dog. I treat my dog like my child, and I’ll treat yours the same: with love and compassion! I’ve done countless research on different breeds of dogs and how to handle different behaviors, hired a dog trainer to better my knowledge on training and dog behaviors, and have been given many responsibilities of caring for my neighbors and families dogs. I have walked many dogs, even those who are not leash trained/reactive, and have dog sat dogs in my home many times without any conflict between multiple dogs. I never leave dogs home alone in my house and always watch them. I am also willing to practice any training you desire during their stay!

I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run around and play. Dogs will never be left alone in my house or outside, for safety reasons, and my house is clean with no trash or food left behind or on the floors. I do have an 11 year old and a 14 year old in the house who are very calm and stay in their rooms most of the time (typical teenagers haha). There is also a new baby in the house (9 months)! But she is never left unsupervised with any dogs, even mine. We maintain respectable distance between her and other dogs and make sure she doesn’t stress them out in any way. My neighborhood is quiet with children outside playing sometimes, but it’s rare. If I am dog sitting in a clients home, I will stay with your dog as needed and make sure they get all that they need before the next time I see them.

It’d be appreciated to know all about your dog! I don’t mind if you send me multiple paragraphs or an entire essay on your dog! Every dog is unique and has their very own personality. Knowing their quirks, likes, and dislikes helps me to maintain a healthy relationship with you and your dog by respecting and knowing what their boundaries are. I’d also love to know their vet information, for safety reasons (in case anything were to happen) and any food allergies or sensitivities. As well as any behavioral issues, such as resource guarding (even if it’s a small reaction or with certain toys or treats), dog aggression, etc.
A typical day
For my dog, we do tons of play, walks, bike runs, puzzles, kongs, etc! I also allow my dog on a long leash to let him explore, but still with the safety of his well-being. This also allows me to work on recall! I’d be happy to incorporate your dogs needs with physical and mental stimulation to maintain a happy and tired/exercised dog!

Currently I work overnight shifts at work but that doesn’t stop me from taking care of my dog, nor will it stop me from taking care of yours! Your pup is a priority to me!
