I've taken care of animals ever since I was a child. My animals are my family, and I want to give the same type of love and care to your animals that I do to my own fur children. In my spare time I volunteer my time transporting dogs and cats out of dangerous shelter situations to their forever homes or rescues. I have experience administering medication to pets, and even giving insulin shots for our furry diabetic friends as well. I've been pet sitting, dog walking, etc regularly for the last 6 years and love getting to meet new furry faces. I own two kitties myself, who are my cat-children, and recently rescued a stray pup I named Poppet. After many attempts to locate her owner with no luck, I just couldn't say goodbye to her and decided to adopt her myself. She's such a good girl and I've fallen hopelessly in love with her. I currently do freelance graphic design part time so I can work remotely almost anywhere with my computer. This allows me a lot of flexibility, and the ability to also easily adapt to overnight stays should you need it for your pets. The majority of my week is spent walking/caring for animals. I'm an early riser and do my best to accommodate my client's needs and schedules. My schedule generally allows me to spend the vast majority of my time with your animals, so that they can get lots of attention. If I'm taking care of your pets in your home I'm happy to comply with any instructions or specifics your animal may need. I have experience administering medications, both oral and injections, and have taken care of many animals with specific dietary needs. I also have experience volunteering in animal shelters and transportation rescue. Your pets safety and happiness always comes first! I love to know what your animals love so that I can provide them with a happy and safe visit or stay. I am punctual, thoughtful, and detail oriented to ensure your pets are well taken care. I also am triple vaccinated, and am happy to wear masks in your home/during visits if requested. At this time I am not offering boarding services while my newly adopted dog gets acclimated to our home. However, that may change in the future so I'll leave the following info in place. I have a large backyard in a quiet neighborhood so dogs are able to have a great big space to explore. It is not fully fenced in so I will take them on a leash and accompany them at all times. I do have two cats and one small dog so if I'm boarding your animal they will need to be ok with kitties/dogs. That being said, my home is a decent size and it's possible to keep the cats seperated If necessary.
