Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs and cats so I understand the importance of attention, exercise, and love they need on a daily basis. I’ve been pet-sitting for years, and I absolutely love getting to know dogs (and cats) on an individual basis. Friends and families have relied on me for all sorts of pet care, whether it’s stopping in and letting them out for a half hour, taking them on a walk, feeding them, or staying the night with them. I understand the stress that animals feel when their owners are away, so it’s my number one duty to make them feel comforted and safe while under my care!

We scheduled some time with Ari so she could get familiar with our dogs. She arrived in time and played with them. The dogs were quite happy and tired after she left. .
Ari was great! It was my first time having anyone outside of family take care of my dogs and was a bit nervous how things would work out but once I met her I felt at ease and during my trip she sent photos and kept me updated and did everything I asked in a 4 page instruction list which is extreme but again it was my first time. She took care of my dogs and house very well and I hope she will continue to be my sitter when needed. Highly recommend Ari!!
Ari is simply the best. She cared for our house, senior dog (who requires medication and attention throughout the day) and two kitties for nearly a week and far exceeded our expectations. She texted and sent photos daily, kept us up to date and left the house just as she had found it. If I need a sitter in the future, she will be the first one I contact! Thank you, Ari!
Ari was great! She took care of our dog and house while we where out of town. She sent us daily pictures and updates. Our dog was comfortable with her. She took him on daily walks. She was respectful of our house and kept it very clean.

I’ve actually grown up without a completely fenced yard, but every one of our pets has learned their boundaries and I understand the importance of always keeping an eye on animals around me. I’m fully able to crate animals if needed, and I can easily adapt to any specific training or reinforcements that are already established with the family and pet!

Let me know if there’s certain things I should know about, especially any personality traits that may be specific to your pet. I’m used to low-maintenance pets, such as labs and retrievers, but love getting to know other breeds with different personalities. Also, if there’s certain tricks that are established within the household - such as giving a treat while walking to avoid other dogs, when they are crated, etc.
A typical day
I personally think daily exercise and activities with animals are one of the most important parts of pet care! Dogs’ anxiety is known to be reduced as they sniff and take in all sorts of smells, so going on walks is my favorite activity to do with pets as I can get in some exercise as well. I love to play fetch, play with toys, and other activities to keep them stimulated and happy.

I am a small business owner, so my computer travels with me everywhere I go allowing flexibility with hours, commute, and location. House-sitting and pet-sitting allows me to continue to grow my business while also getting to hang out with cute dogs and cats!
