Pet care experience
I love the uniqueness each animal brings, and I love getting to know their personalities. I love to play, walk, cuddle, and have fun with all animals, while also being able to appropriately discipline them. My experience consists of many different types of animals of all ages, so I feel that I'm very perceptive to their needs, and will know if something is wrong or if they feel uncomfortable. I would consider this ability to read animals would be a special skill of mine, as I always try to prioritize bonding with the animals I care for so everyone involved can keep their stress levels low and enjoy the experiences we share. I think my experience and passion for animals sets me apart from other sitters, as well as the flexibility I can offer owners in terms of scheduling and tasks that might be necessary for the animal's care.

Ari is Fun, energetic and positive. She did a drop in visit and was great!
My senior Pits love Aria. She is patient, kind and attentive to their needs. Additionally, during her last stay she did an excellent job dealing with an emergency related to one of the dogs. Her initial communication with me was clear and her execution of the steps required (trip to vet and secondary follow up) provide me with a high level of confidence and trust.
We had a gray experience with Ari. It was super helpful that she was flexible with scheduling last minute & took really good care of our pup. He is usually anxious when we pick him up from daycare but seeing him so calm when we got back and cuddled up with Ari gave us a lot of peace. Will be rebooking!
The best! Extremely responsible, my puppy loved her! Will definitely be rebooking!

I follow hard-set rules like using a crate and feeding times/necessities very seriously, as I know that consistency between the owners' and my behavior is incredibly important to each animal. On top of that, I try to create a unique and personal bond with each animal I care for. This allows me to give each animal something to look forward to, rather than perhaps missing their owners while they might be separated.

If I can meet the dog(s) or animals with their owners, they usually warm up to me quicker, but I know this isn't always feasible. Either way, a heads up about possible aggression towards me would be helpful to know, just in case I need to bribe with treats or activities that improve trust between the animal(s) and me.
A typical day
Parks or outdoor environments close to the animal are immediate go-to's for me because I know the animal will be comfortable there and may even get to engage with other neighborhood animals they know. I like going on long walks or switching up the pace of a walk sometimes, just to help with enrichment and excitement (and to tire them out!). Once they're tuckered out, a little downtime or playtime at home is an excellent way to induce a nap and some relaxation.

I want to be involved with Rover because of my love for animals, so my scheduling is flexible and often case-by-case, which means I can provide as much or as little care for an animal as necessary, and I communicate with owners if I have any scheduling limitations.
