Hello.My name is Ari. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado.Two of my biggest takeaways from this lifestyle are a love of nature and a love for animals. I feel very privileged to have spent my life having the beautiful scenery of Colorado as my backyard. I took advantage of that utilizing nature as my way to stay healthy and happy. I also have had pets as far back as I can remember. Our family always had dogs. My parents had a soft spot for pound puppies when I was younger. We rescued a variety of dogs, cats, and other creatures in my younger years. They taught me that every living thing deserved a loving home. I was taught how to train dogs so they were well behaved and could also do some pretty cool tricks! My family always had two dogs in our household. When I got a little older I thrived on being able to take our pets into nature with my. My dogs were always my companions on hiking trips, cross country ski trips, and even a few very mellow rafting trips. This type of activity became my favorite. Once I reached adult age I got my own dogs and of course I had to have rescue dogs. My dogs were my best friends. I became a strong and independent woman that found extreme happiness with my pets. They are definitely my best friends! I would do anything and everything to ensure their happiness. I moved away from the mountains and down to the front range in 2011. I learned to adjust to not having mountains in my backyard and found other ways to ensure my pets happiness in the city. Luckily the mountains were never too far away. I currently live in the outskirts of Lakewood and my Apartment overlooks a reservoir. I try to walk my dog around it every morning when I have to work. I still take my dog (I recently lost my older dog and made the choice to only have one dog until I purchase a house) on hikes and the occasional cross country ski trips. I love all the parks around the Denver area. They are a great place for my doggy to socialize and get some exercise. The leash free dog park in Evergreeen is one of our favorite places to go for a quick hike in an area where my dog can let loose. I would really love to meet some new dogs and pass on my love and values to them. I can take them on short walks or long ones - your choice. If you’d like to give your dog a full day of adventure I’d love to take them on a hike with me. If you want someone to stop by and let them out and give some extra love in the midst of your busy schedule it would make my day. If you would like some help with basic training I can do that. Whatever your your fur babies needs are I can and will accommodate them. I’m usually pretty good with the most difficult of animals. I learned the value of positive reinforcement as a training mechanism compared to punishment. My schedule can vary from week to week but I will know right off the bat if we are able to make something work. I hope you consider me when looking for some extra help.
