Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Arden. I am a native New York who loves traveling, yoga and of course...animals. As a child I wanted to be Eliza thorn berry (a cartoon girl who could talk to animals) and would always be the one to volunteer to take care of the animals during school breaks, some included a lizard, tarantula, cockroaches. Growing up I have had all types of animals from lizards to fish, dogs and hamsters. Currently, I work in the field of international justice and unfortunately travel to much to have any pets of my own. As an alternative I have been volunteering and fostering dogs for a shelter in Brooklyn. While very rewarding, it is heartbreaking to let them go after such extended periods of time. I hope Rover would give me the opportunity to give an animal love for a shorter period of time. I would be delighted to hang out with your pet! My home has a dog bed, toys, bowls and treats. It’s has a small fenced in outdoor space perfect for a game of fetch and is a 3 block walk from the park nice for some exploring.

Arden was terrific! Very accommodating and did such a wonderful job watching my dog! She was extremely attentive to her needs and always kept me updated on her. I can tell my Shmoopy had the time of her life staying with Arden while I was away because when it came time to go she didn’t want to! I highly recommend her for any services you would need for your dog/s! Thanks Arden!!
Arden was great! Our dog didn't want to leave her. We would gladly work with her again.
Arden has been the kindest and most patient caretaker for my clingy and over-excitable young golden retriever, Lily. She knows just how to get Lily the exercise she needs going on long walks, playing fetch, and giving her lots of love and attention. Arden came highly recommended for her experience fostering dogs of a wide variety of breeds and personalities, and has exceeded all expectations. She has been a pleasure to get to know and I can’t recommend her highly enough!
I have a 135 pound Alaskan Malamute named BeiBei who if you search for the word "unit" on Google, you will probably see my pupper floating on the top of the recommended results. That being said, walking her and caring for her takes patience, knowledge, and dedication - especially in the city. Arden was fantastic at taking care of BeiBei that at this point I think that my pupper might love her more than she loves me. She's patient, kind, and has been a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for someone who is kind, patient, and professional who can also deal with potato sacks disguised as dogs, then Arden is your best bet.
