Pet care experience
The most important thing to me is to ensure your pets are comfortable and stress free while their people are away. I have had animals of one kind or another all my life. Dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, horses, & cows. I have a diploma in Large Animal Health and 30 years experience with animals of all kinds. Specializing in pets and animals that just don't fit in a kennel. Maybe they don't do well in a kennel situation or maybe they are an elder pet or pets with unique needs.

Ardele paid special attention to our cats needs and interacted with them. We felt at ease with knowing that our cats were well cared for and received lots of videos and photos of them. I would definitely use Ardele again for another vacation
Ardele was very professional and loving towards my 2 cats while we took our first big trip away from them. I felt totally comfortable leaving them in her hands. We had daily updates and pictures so it made our trip less stressful knowing they were being looked after so well. Side note, one of my cats is a little snarky and Ardele was able to make friends with him in no time ❤️
Ardele is the most incredible pet sitter and all around human being. My fur family absolutely adores when she comes to spend time with them, I’m pretty sure they actually enjoy when I go away now. She is always extremely attentive to my special needs animal, my senior and my over dramatic kitty as well as any medication my whole crew may be on at the time. There aren’t many folks I’d trust to have my pets overnight, let along for an extended period of time, but having Ardele for pet sitting has been a life changer for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend her services and her being your pets honorary aunt!
Ardele was a fantastic dog / house sitter. She cared for my pup like it was her own, taking him on adventures, maintaining (and enhancing) my training program and giving him lots of love and attention.

A meet and greet is so important to make sure both the humans and the animals are comfortable with me and my personality. During the meeting, we can discuss what your animals' needs are, how often do they need to be fed, are they on medications, what is their exercise plan, are they allowed on the furniture, do they need to sleep with me for comfort? These all help me establish what your animals' needs are and how best to accommodate them.

During the meet and greet, I will take notes to make sure I know how to properly care for your animals. I will ask questions about sleep, exercise, feeding, meds, playdates, day trips, and all the other things you may need to tell me about your animals.
A typical day
I am open and willing to do whatever activities your animals love the most. Long walks, multiple short little jaunts, playtime at a park or just snuggling. It's important that schedules and normal activity are maintained when their humans are away. It helps reduce stress and keep everyone healthy and happy.

Availability
I am a full-time Business Analyst with PCL Construction and work a regular 8 hour day. I will fit in with your pets' schedule however they need it. Now that we are back to the office I am looking to shorten my commute a little where possible and earn some travel money.
