Pet care experience
Hi! I am Ara (Arantxa) a lifetime dog lover & trainer. My husband Joseph and I live in a two bedroom home with a fenced backyard and our service dog, Coco. We have no kids. I work from home, have tons of free time during the day, and love spending time with any dog. I treat them as my own. The dogs are always kept indoors and I let them out to my backyard every couple of hours. I am very confident around dogs, and I manage to keep them calm and stress free. I volunteered in a rescue center as a teenager and I worked in Dog Behavior and as a service dog trainer while in NYC before moving to the RGV in 2020. In addition, I have 5 years of experience on Rover, feel free to browse through our reviews! Our guests have always been safe in our care! I can accommodate a meeting beforehand. Arantxa was really good and sweet with my Dominga! She completely adapts to your dog’s need. Dominga loved her instantly! Alexa sent me really cute pictures all the time ☺️. I felt very comfortable leaving my Velcro fur baby with her and I would definitely do it again. Thank you!
Mi perrito pudo hacer amigos y ellos le ayudaron a no tener miedo a los demás perritos. Me mandaron fotos de mi perrito y se veía que la pasaba muy bien con ellos. Muy buena atención.
Ara & Jospeh are amazing! They are always willing to work around schedules and keep us updated on daily photos of our pets. Our flight was delayed multiple times which caused the pick up time to change and be moved around. Ara was more than happy to adjust and drop our pet off when we needed it.

- your pup will be kept indoors at all times (except for potty breaks/playtime) - I will not take any clients with aggressive dogs - Dogs from different households will be left in different areas when unsupervised, i have doggy gates and multiple rooms to accomodate - I can provide oral medication to your dog - if you board with us you agree that your pet’s vaccinations are up to date. - if you board with us you are agreeing that your dog does not have aggression issues - I want to make sure your pet is comfortable & at ease. Rest assured I feel comfortable reaching out to you with questions or concerns and I will notify you immediately if any issues arise.

A typical day
Dog walks: I will follow any specific walking instructions. I have a fenced backyard for my furry friends to enjoy - I also love playing with any dog!! Your dog's sleeping arrangement I am not picky about where the dog will sleep. It could sleep in it's bed, on the floor, on a blanket, or anywhere that would make it comfortable! Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home, and so the most I'll be away is 2 hours max while I am running errands.

- I work from home so I will be home at all times unless I am out running errands. (Normally 1-3 hours MAX) - i wake up early and i can easily accommodate to your schedule and needs
