Hi, I'm Aran and I'm a 26 year old VTC medical student. I've had dogs in my family since high school, and I currently keep a dog of my own here in VA and often dogsitted for my friends while I attended college. I would love for him to meet your dogs as well. I live close to the Greenway to go on nice, long walks! In-between classes I am usually at home all day, even on weekends, to study and keep your dofs company. I'm limited in terms of picking up and dropping off as I do not have a car of my own. I look forward to meeting your pup! Please respect that I do not take animals that are not fully housetrained. A few accidents here and there are fine, esp for older dogs. But if I find your dog has consistent problems until I walk them, I will cancel the reservation.

Aran was responsible and very knowledgeable about how to care for dogs. My dogs got along well with him, and I have no doubt he was kind and attentive throughout their stay. In terms of logistics, he was responsive and courteous and made the process feel very easy, which was nice since I was initially a little nervous about leaving my dogs with a sitter (I usually bring them with me on trips). I would be interesting in hiring Aran as my dog sitter again.

My preference is for clients that are not reactive to noises (as I live in am apartment building) and are not destructive when left alone for long periods- in the mornings I am usually gone for 4 hours at a time for classes.
A typical day
I usually walk my dogs before class at around 7/8a. Then every 4 hours I would come back to my apartment so I could take the dogs out for potty breaks. Usually my classes are done by 3p, allowing me to spend the entire evening at home with your fur baby. I usually take the dogs out for their evening strolls at around 6-8p and take them out one last time around 10p before going to bed.

I am currently a full time student but most of my classes are in the morning and sporadically in the afternoons- I update my availability on Rover to reflect this! Otherwise I'm home all day to study and can keep your pups company.
