Help Sophie Become a Veterinarian
Pet care experience
We are at Rover because my daughter wants to become a veterinarian. She loves all kinds of animals. We are vegetarians since Sophie said: "how can I eat them if I want to treat them?" This shows her passion for the animal kingdom in general. I grew up with 5 dogs, 2 cats, 3 turtles and 1 parrot at my parent's house. Care for them, was part of my daily chores. This is where my experience with pets comes from. I'll do all the chores but Sophie will accompany me to all pet sittings. Although she is a very quiet child, rest assure that she will be supervised at all times. At the moment, we rent and pets are not allowed. Pet sitting is the way I found to give to my daughter the pet experience she wants and at the same time save money for her college. Any income we make from Rover will go to her college fund. Araceli and her daughter Sophie took care of my elderly dog for a day (she is 13!). Even so Sophie is just a kid she already shows a lot of responsibility and love for the animals. I'm incredibly thankful for everything!
Taking care of animals is a huge responsibility and you did it with excellence, I was very happy with the care, the attention and the games you played with Jolie (my dog), I am very thankful. A special thanks to Sophie that even so small already knows how to captivate and take care of any pet. It’s been a while Jolie had had so much fun, I guess only a child can provide that.

Does your pet has any restrictions on diet and activities? per example: Some pet owners prefer that their pet use the indoor facilities to go to the bathroom instead of outside. what is your pet favorite play? Does he/she have any impairment? does he/she need any special care?
A typical day
Dog walks - We will walk your dog at least a mile unless exercise is not his/her thing. We believe that exercise will reduce your pet separation anxiety and get him out of trouble. If you have a yard - we will happily play with your pet outside, for extra exercise. Indoor pets will play inside, of course. Let us know your pet likes and dislikes and we will make sure he/she has lots of fun. If you have an older pet - we will take him to the park instead of walking there. We can be very accommodating to your pet's needs.
