Pet care experience
I was the proud owner of an adopted pomeranian-chihuahua named Chuck who was in my life for 13 years until his recent passing from renal failure. I’ve been a pet owner my entire life (dogs, birds, fish, rabbit, and cat) and often cared for strays in the neighborhood growing up. Sadly, I've developed a cat allergy and unable to care for cats at this time. I've offered reliable overnight and daycare pet care services to family, friends, and neighbors in the past and am happy to help out my neighbors here in the city as needed. I love taking walks to nearby parks and hiking trails. I hope your pup will tag along! Just let me know if you need my services and hope I can be available! I prefer caring for small or medium sized dogs that are house-trained. I have a backyard (not fenced in), a pop up crate (for small dogs), and medium fluffy dog bed.

Montgomery stayed with Aqiyla for a few days before heading to his other boarder for the months I would be out of the country. He had a great time with her and her pup. I was happy he seemed to settle in so quickly with Aqiyla. I would definitely work with her again!

It's important for me to know if your dog has any special needs (behaviorally, diet, health conditions, etc) so that we can see if I'm a good fit for them. I'd also like honesty around whether your dog is fully potty trained to prevent accidents in the house and your dog's energy level and behavior around other dogs.
A typical day
It's important to me that your dog gets their energy out and moves their body. A bored dog is an unhappy dog. So, I love to go on morning, afternoon and evening walks with dogs (about 15-30 min each, depending on the dog). I also love to play catch and tug of war or just let them roam and sniff around. In the warmer weather, I like to go to the Eno river and parks nearby to let them wade in the shallow water a bit to keep cool.
