Aqila is one of the kindest most loving person I know. She believes in the power of love not only with people but also, on knowing her for about 5 years, I feel she believes all living things are a part of our divine experience in this world. She loves animals and has a cat and dog of her own. During the height of the pandemic both her and I rescued two dogs from a family that lost their home. Aquila took care of the dog she was fostering as though it were her own. She did this for about a year and lovingly returned the dog to its original owner when they found a home. I personally got to witness first hand her care for dogs as we would got to the park and long walks with them often. She speaks to them as though they are people and her dogs were happy! I feel that whatever animal she would care for she would in the most caring and loving way. I would trust in her to care for my own dog if the circumstance arose. Additionally she loves cats too! Well basically she loves anything with a heartbeat as I’ve seen her admire birds in the park! I know in my heart she believes that all animals are a part of our unique journeys and that they should be respected as our equals. All the best in finding the best care for your fur babies! Marie
