As a current Veterinary student, I have experience with animal handling, behavior, and of course medications! I believe that having the knowledge and skill to understand and care for pets is essential to being able to watch over them. Pet sitting is so much more than play time and I am able to incorporate every aspect into my care taking.

Apryl is one of the kindest, most considerate people I have ever met. I trust her wholeheartedly with my pets and my littles, which she makes easy due to her honest, transparent, and loving nature. She has a huge heart and both of my little girls love her! Not to mention, my dogs practically fight over which of them can have her attention (and Apryl always finds a way to love on all of them). I have a very hard time trusting people with my children or my home, but Apryl has my full trust and support.
Apryl is amazing with animals. She treats all animals with love and compassion. She has cared for my dog and cat since I got them. They absolutely adore Apryl. She's highly knowledgeable with many aspects of amimal care, such as grooming, medications, and behaviors. Along with being wonderful with animals, she is trustworthy, punctual, hardworking, and reliable. She has excellent communication skills and always treats others with respect. I would not hesitate to have Apryl care for pets.
Apryl cares deeply for animals and will always do her best to keep your furry friend comfortable. She's great at communication and will keep you updated whilst you are away. Apryl is a wonderful pet sitter. She gives great updates with lots of pictures. I never have to be worried about my pets when I’m out of town, and my pets absolutely love her. Not to mention she actually works at a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant, and got accepted into vet school! Thanks to Apryl I can actually relax on my vaccinations and know my pets are getting the best care possible.

My first priority when meeting a new pet is to make sure they are comfortable. I like to meet new clients and your fur babies prior to the first scheduled appointment. This allows me to bond with your pet with you present so they understand that I am a safe person. It also allows you an opportunity to see how I interact with your pet.

A typical day
I love to provide enrichment time for all of the kiddos I watch. Whether it be play time or treat time, there is a way to make it stimulating. I have experience with different enrichment treat options such as puzzle feeding, frozen treats, wet and dry treats while respecting allergies and/or restrictions. Play time is my favorite! I love running around with pets and playing with all of their favorite toys. I also love to cuddle with pets big or small! If they are up for it, I will give them all of the love and attention they desire!

Availability
My daily routine revolves around pet care! I start off my morning by taking care of my pets and end my day the same way. I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant as well as a Kennel Assistant and would love to continue to care for animals as I move into Veterinary School.
