My name is April. I’m in the military and have availablity from late afternoons into the evening on weekdays and free all day on the weekends usually, unless I have duty. My mother and two sisters live with me so there’s always someone home to give your pet the living they deserve. I love dogs and grew up with dog breed ranging from chihuahuas Laboradors. I have experience as a dog trainer with small breeds from 8 weeks to 4 yrs old in basic obedience, potty training, and some special tricks (ie “dancing”, roll over, crawling, & playing “dead”. My favorite breed is Maltese, which is what currently have. My dog is 8 years old, but still pretty young at heart, enjoys sunbathing in the backyard running around the yard, and wouldn’t mind a partner in crime to tag along.

April is a avid dog lover. She is great with dogs of all sizes and ages. I have never seen my babies get so excited to see her arrive. The love and care that she provides for my babies has definitely made April a part of our family.

April is a great sitter she provides everything your dog needs and will take care of them. She is friendly and nice and very reliable she is a perfect sitter.
April, is absolutely a phenomenal trainer for dogs, especially puppies. I was having such a horrible time potty time my toy poodle and had to go on a business trip for a few weeks and needed a last minute dog sitter, but could barely afford to pay normal fees plus additional since at the time my Molly was not potty trained :-( I explained my situation to April, who was my neighbor at this time that was friendly but I barely spoke to due to my hectic schedule. April gladly accepted and told me how our dogs play through the fence and seemed to get along great! When I got back, Molly was a completely different dog. In just 3 weeks, a woman I barely knew somehow was able to FULLY POTTY TRAIN my baby girl (something I hadn’t been able to achieve for almost 3 mos), have her walk “nice” on her leash, and sit and wait for the command to eat her food!!! OMG I couldn’t believe my eyes and she gave me Molly’s new “schedule” for potty and feeding time when I picked her up. I LOVE, LOVE, April and never trusted anyone else in my life with the happiness and wellbeing of my baby than April. Trust me when I say your dog is in AMAZING hands. <3

I prefer smaller breeds due to small child being in the household, but as long as the dog is good tempered around children and other dogs, breeds >100 lbs will not be an issue. Questions for owners: Is the dog trained is basic obedience? Has the dog been exposured to children > 2 yrs old? How is their temperament around children & other dogs? Does the dog have food aggression (ie will bite/growl if food is touched while eating)?
