Member of BEST program - Behavior, Enrichment, Socialization and Training with the SPCA. I also foster dogs until adopted. I have owned Dobermans, Great Danes, Pit Bulls & mutts. I got my first dog when I was 17 and have had animals in my home ever since. All my children have paws or hooves. I believe a home without animals is missing to much love and life is so much richer when you have something to pet.

PERFECT
I can’t thank April enough for taking care of our puppy Brandy. We were worried about leaving her but April sent pictures and videos every day and I could see how much fun she was having! She was well takin care of and had plenty of attention. We are so happy that we found someone so caring to take care of our puppy
April is awesome and truly loves what she does! Timu gets homemade dog treats and plays all day with all different types of dogs. It’s his heaven where he can go up on the couch, play outside and even the basement is set up for playing. If you are in the area and you haven’t tried April, you and your dog are missing out!
April was so great with our pup Boone! You can tell she is a true professional and really knows what she is doing with the dogs -- and loves them too! She has a great backyard for them to run and play. We got many updates and cute videos of our pup. I would definitely use April again in the future!

As much as possible, I like to keep your pet on the same schedule they would have at home. I work from home so they can have my attention all day or as much they want. I prefer not to have toy breed dogs, under 7 pounds.
A typical day
I have a fenced in acre with lots of trees, toys and even dog pools. All animals (yes I'll take care of cats also if you need it) are pampered and given individual attention.
