Own one dog, large fenced yard
Pet care experience
We are a family of 4 with one dog, who is a cherished member of our family. I have flexibility with my job, so I am able to check on things during the day. I am off during the summer, and I love being active and spending time with my own dog. I have experience taking care of all ages of dogs, and I am adaptable to different needs of dogs. I offer a lot of love and attention to your furry friend, and I recognize it is hard for them to be away from their owners. I have a hard time leaving my own dog, so I understand the hesitancy in leaving them with a stranger. My 2 kids love dogs, and they are extremely helpful in this process.

Tallulah slept for an entire day after I picked her up! She and Lucy had a fantastic time together. Thanks April and family!
Our dog was well cared for by April and her family. We could tell he was treated like one of their own. We received updates and pictures throughout his stay. When we picked him up he was exhausted which is always a good sign.
Riley had a great stay with April. He certainly had fun playing with the whole family and was tuckered out for the next few days.

I need to know their eating habits and if they prefer to eat in solitude. I need to know how your dog is with other dogs and kids. I need to know if your dog has any special needs, i.e. sensitive to loud noises, etc. We will do a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that your pup is comfortable.
A typical day
We enjoy walks through the neighborhood and around the lake. If the owner is comfortable, we do enjoy going to the dog park. (I do understand not everyone is comfortable) We have a large backyard, where we spend a lot of time playing fetch.
