Pet care experience
Hello! I am a biologist and work a flexible schedule. I am hoping to spend some of my free time with animals! I've had all types of pets (cats, dogs, snakes, fish, horses, chickens, etc.) I often cat and dog sit for friends. I am available for sitting, walking, and transporting pets. Additionally, I am able to care for plants. I have extensive knowledge of houseplants and several years of gardening and farming experience.

April was awesome—she stayed at our place with our senior dog and our cat over the holidays and was super communicative and sent us lots of cute pictures! The pets clearly loved her and the house looked exactly like we left it. It was a huge relief to know they were safe and happy while we were gone and I would absolutely hire her again.
April walked our pups last minute for us and we couldn't be more thankful. She did a great job communicating and sent pictures during the walk, the dogs had a great time. Thanks again, April!

For pets boarded at my home, I have a fenced in yard and take up to an hour long walk once a day along with letting the dog into the yard 3-5x per day to use the bathroom. I strictly follow established feeding schedules. While at a client's home, I aim to minimize stress by sticking to regular routines with daily walks, feedings, and bathroom breaks.

A typical day
I love to take dogs for long walks and jogs. Some of my favorite places to go include City Park and Audubon Park. Senior dogs are some of my favorites, we can go on short, slow strolls around the neighborhood, but make up for it with extra attention, pets, and brushing.
