Being an experienced entrepreneurial caretaker for clients’ homes and pets, I understand the time, commitment, and energy it truly takes to have one of the best jobs in the world! Growing up with a father who trained dogs for a living allowed me to understand the importance of excellent pet care. I was raised in a positive, pet filled environment and learned that pets are to be treated with respect, their own independent attention, and unconditional love. By the time I was twelve, I began caring for other family’s pets when they were out of town, and by the time I was 15 clients began trusting me to are for their homes. Now (more than 10 years later) I continue to ask myself: ‘Can I please do this forever?!’ In my years of experience, I have cared for multiple breeds--big to small, pet's of all ages. Some have been rescued, others on medication, have had missing limbs, you name it -- they're great! I have on multiple accounts cared for a 10lb pocket Yorkie, a 45lb dingo-pitbull mix, a 200lb Saint Bernard, and a 175lb Nufalin puppy--all under one roof. All across the spectrum of age, size, breed, personality, medical/emotional care, and exercise needs. Yet everything ran smoothly under my care. Experience aside, I am an extremely self-motivated individual who takes her work very seriously. That includes open communication with my clientele, being on time, having a professional and welcoming demeanor, and caring for others' pets as if they were my own. I cannot stress enough how important my work as a dog and home sitter is for me.
