Pet care experience
We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. We have an English Angora rabbit, so are experienced with rabbits and can provide drop-in service for small animals as well as dogs and cats.

She went above and beyond our expectations paying attention to Harley’s needs and making sure she was comfortable and most of all safe. April sent pictures and updates throughout the entire time which was absolutely wonderful. Harley was exhausted for a couple days once back home so we know April kept her entertained. This is our first time using this service and we are so grateful we found April!! She is truly a blessing. Top notch service!!

I highly recommend April. I have seen first hand how well April treats her animals. She has experience training and working with dogs. As well as caring for other animals. I have two responsible children at home, ages 9 and 12, and they are experienced with dogs and have been involved with care and training. We can accommodate all kinds of needs. As a registered nurse, I am trustworthy and responsible, and am very experienced with following a care plan and providing detailed updates. I’ll be happy to send reports and pictures while you are away from your pet!

We love working on training exercises with dogs—with positive reinforcement, it is a fun activity and facilitates a positive relationship. We would love to play with your dog and its favorite toy. We like to go for walks, and especially to allow dogs to enjoy “sniffy walks”—great for their brains and lead to happy dogs!

I work as a registered nurse very part time, and homeschool my two children. We are often home, and are not usually away from the house for more than 4-6 hours.
