Pet care experience
I am a fun and energized person that loves animals. I’ve had everything from guinea pigs and bunnies to cats and dogs. My last dog was a huge Bernese mountain dog. Unfortunately, she passed away last July 2022. Hopefully, you choose me to watch your pet! They will be in great hands.

April and her family have become our go-to choice when we have to leave our fur baby behind. Our miniature dachshund Exploradora loves going there, and even does her high pitched excited squeals (reserved for special people) every time she arrives. 🥰 We know she’s in good hands when she’s with April and company!
April made herself available to me at the last moment for a full day pet sit. We did not know each other but she opened her home and made it work. Mushroom had a great day. I am so appreciative of April, her partner, and the Rover app. We will definitely return.

I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood for dog walks. I currently have 1 indoor cat named Cody. Animals are fine to be on the couch and furniture unless their owner says otherwise. Exercise is important to my personal health so daily walks with your pet are always a highlight to my day.

Temperament and underlying health conditions are my biggest concern. Once I know that, I’m pretty well versed on reading dog and cat language. Eating habits of course need to be understood as well. One of the most important additional information is how a pet is motivated. Whether it be through treats or physical touch is a must know.
A typical day
I constantly pet and talk to my animals. I try to make things fun by going on walks and doing whatever it is, their owners, tell me that their pets enjoy most. Parks and trails are near my home so those are always a must.

Availability
I currently work part-time from home so taking care of pets is easy to fit into my schedule. I’m flexible with my day so it’s easy for me to give potty breaks and daily walks.
