We are professionals that reside on a quiet street with our two dogs, Eli a 9 y/o Dachshund and Penny Lane, a 6 y/o Beagle/Rat Terrier mix. Before our dogs came to live with us, we often watched dogs for our friends and family when they had to travel or went on vacation. We hadn't done it in a while when we kept our friends' older Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix for a week. The three dogs had so much fun, we decided to open our home up to others looking for a friendly, loving environment for their pets when the need arises. My husband works from home and I have a flexible schedule working for a small experiential marketing agency about 20 minutes away. We're lucky, we're able to take our dogs to the majority of the places we travel and we know that not all pet owners have that same ability. We would love to extend our home to help those who have to leave their pets behind, but don't want to board them in a facility. While we love all dogs, we find that our two get along best with other small and medium sized dogs that have been socialized. We have a small unfenced, backyard and a pet-friendly neighborhood with the perfect loop for walks. We would ask that whenever possible, owners looking for Doggy Daycare please provide 48 hours advance notice. This will allow us to ensure our schedules are coordinated.
