I can’t remember when I didn’t have a dog. I’ve both cared for and owned 5lb teacup poodles to 100lb mastiffs. I’m an active outdoor person who enjoys a dog to accompany me hiking, biking, skiing, jogging, walking or just snuggling in the house. I can accommodate exercise level based on your dogs needs and abilities either age or injury related. I don’t have children so I tend to spoil animals. I will do my best to abide by your rules and routines. I’m comfortable helping leash training dogs but mostly take dogs off leash once trust is established. I work in the evenings so I’m available full time in the late mornings and afternoon. If you need a quick walk at the dog park or a 2-4 hour hike in the afternoons I’m your girl. I am able to care for dogs over night but they are left alone from 5pm-midnight so might not be best for puppies and older dogs. I have a good sized house and a large fenced in back yard for your dog to roam around. I own an extremely friendly and lazy shepherd/lab mix; she is 12 years old and a true sweetheart. There are no children in my home and pets tend to rule the roost. I go to university dog park almost every afternoon with my old dog. I also cross country ski, bike, hike or jog in the afternoons; my dog is too old for long outings and I would really enjoy a companion by my side. I have an SUV and truck to pickup/drop off dogs and have stairs to help them in and out if needed.
