I grew up with pets: dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs -- even the occasional chicken! I love all animals with a passion, especially dogs! :) For many years, my next door neighbor offered me the opportunity to care for her dog and cat when she was away, and always trusted me with that responsibility until sadly she passed away. Back when I moved away from home for the first time, the first thing I missed was having pets! When I was in college, I had a cat who I cared for very much for 5 years, but lost her about 2 years ago due to an unexpected tragic health incident. I am now pet-less, and not ready for the emotional commitment of having my own pet again. In the meantime, I love helping others care for and snuggle their pets while they're away, which is a job that I LOVE to pieces. I am thorough and nurturing and will care for your pet with the same warm carefulness and thoughtfulness that you do! The only other person in my home is my husband Danny, who is also a caring dog lover. Danny is working on his Master's at Northeastern and works part-time, so he can usually help me out if you need us to watch your dog during the week. Speaking of scheduling, I am generally only available on the weekends (ranging from a drop off Friday evening and a stay thru Sunday evening). I work full time from 10am-6pm on the weekdays, so to be fair to your dog, I would not normally offer to watch him/her during the week. However, if you need to have your dog stay with me during the week, my husband is usually home unless he has class, and can help care for your dog.
