Pet care experience
Important notice: at the moment we are having certain issues with our house that prevent us from watching dogs. Please do not request for us to dog sit for you at this moment as we will respond that we will be unavailable for likely the next six months. My name is April! I live in Lafayette with my husband Jason, my daughter (age 15), and my son (age 13). I grew up with a Saint Bernard and later a Mastiff. Then with my family we had a Labarador Retriever and mutt. We like to travel and don’t want to commit to having a dog of our own right now, but we adore dogs! We love all dogs and, as long as your dog is nice, we will shower them with love and attention. If you have a shy dog we will love them but understand their need for space as well. If you want your dog to stay in a crate we will gladly do so but we are happy to have them sleep in the bed with us. We do require dogs to be house-broken. We would love to meet your dog!

What a great stay our pups had! April, Jason and their family are great and were so easy to work with. After talking thru Rover and meeting them we knew it was a great fit. We had no worries leaving our dogs with them. This is so not just about making money for this family but more about enjoying dogs, giving them love and helping them feel at home while their people are away. We feel very lucky to have found them! Can't wait for our next getaway for us and for our dogs too!

Reagan is a true dog lover and they love her right back. She is exceptionally mature for her age and has a genuine caring spirit for all animals. She is very self-disciplined and a straight A student. She has always had a dog to love since the day she was born, and I think that this will be a great way to fill the void of losing her pet Stella after 15 years. She will take this responsibility very seriously.

We will go on walks around our neighborhood. We are close to the Lafayette Moraga trail and will take your dog there for walks when we are available to do so. If your dog has toys we would love to play with them as well.
