Hello my name is April I am 31 and am located in North Providence by Johnston & Smithfield. I have had many different pets: dogs, cats, chickens, geese, reptiles, small animals. I also used to do wildlife rehabilitation! Currently I have one cat (Gwenevere) and I work as a cat/kitten foster (in my home) with a few local pet rescues. I am available to do occasional drop-in and pet walking services for Providence locals. DOGS? They need plenty of love and exercise -- I can do that for you if you're going away or even just need someone to check in once or twice when you're working. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement training (as opposed to punishing) your dog will be in great hands. CATS? Love them. And they love me. In the summer if you're going away, I can make sure your fuzzy baby gets plenty of water, is fed regularly and is played with, brushed, you name it. I also specialize with caring for CHICKENS which is something not many people do. One of my friends calls me a "chicken doctor" since I usually can tell when one of her birds is sick and what with, long before she has to take them to the vet. (I got really into urban chickens in 2010 and read a book on chicken health & treatments -- my brain is a living sponge.) I am trying to get my car back on the road so any extra income is great!
