Pet care experience
I have had all sorts of animals since I was a baby. I love dogs and for the most part they love me. I have never had an extreme issue with any dog and I love to play and help them exert their energy. I am always punctual and prepared to fetch anything your dog throws. I am willing to go above and beyond to make sure your dog is well taken care of and I will always send updates. I will always make sure that no harm comes to any dog that I watch even if it means I put myself in harms way. I think the best way for dogs to express themselves is by playing. So I'm always ready to play and be active with the big dogs (and the little ones too!)

Duke had a great time staying with April. He got along well with her dog and she was able to take them both outside to play as well as caring for her adorable newborn baby! When I came to pick Duke up, we talked for about an hour about our dogs and other animals we had, etc. It’s really nice to have a dog sitter that will give you a full report on your dogs behavior and to have some small talk to get to know each other a little more and that’s exactly what April did! 10/10 recommend!
April would make an amazing dog care provider and a worthy employee to have. She is smart and good with animals in caring for them and calming their nerves. She's had a passion for animal welfare her whole life and has years of expiernce in customer service with Albertsons. Also April has expierence in the care of people as a life guard for sunsplash. Her expiernce and passion in the welfare of others makes her a valuable asset to any employer who hires her for employment

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust is the most important thing for me for any animal I’m watching. Making sure they’re comfortable is key to making that happen. So I like to take things slow, give them their space, and allow them to make the first move to show an interest in getting to know me so that it’s on their terms and they don’t see me as a threat. I like to work with positive reenforcement and give them lots of praise, pets, and play time. If you have a cuddle bug, I am more than happy to make that happen!

I would like to know about any medical issues or if they need any special care that some dogs might not need. How well they interact with people and other dogs. Things that they can and cannot do(i.e. Get on the couch. Go in certain rooms). When they eat and how much. What the dog(s) do and don't like.
A typical day
I would take them to parks. There's even a nice little park with a path around the lake with plenty of dog fountains along the way if they get thirsty. Dog parks. Quiet neighborhoods if they aren't too big on people or other dogs. I love being active so it's all the imagination of the dog that will take us.
