I'm the proud mother of a seven-year-old German Short Haired Pointer and three Maine Coon cats. So I know how tough it is every single time you have to go out of town. Rest easy! I will treat your dog or cat as if they were my own. My main goal is to provide all the attention and love that your pet is used to receiving from you while you're away. Whether that includes: singing them a song, engaging them in conversation, going for long walks, sleeping with them, petting them, brushing them, cooking for them, you name it and I'll do it! I work from home so I have plenty of time to plan around your pets needs and create a custom schedule just for you. I have cared for special needs dogs, as well as dogs with high anxiety. One of the cats I have now has some special needs that I tend to on a regular basis. I have also provided special care like skin cleaning and medication for a Bulldog I had while growing up. I was out of town for a few days and we had April come help with our dog during the day. Our dog Muscles just loves her. She is so sweet and patient with him. Whether it be for an overnight or just a visit and walk April always goes above and beyond providing excellent care and TLC. Our dog is in excellent hands when he's with April.
April is absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our dog, Muscles while we went away for the weekend. April went above and beyond to ensure Muscles had a fun weekend, she took him on lots of walks and to all his favorite spots (Playa Vista Dog Park and Starbucks). He got lots of exercise and attention and even made a new friend with April's adorable dog. She also did an amazing job keeping this nervous mama at ease (first night away) by sending lots of messages and photos. We highly recommend April and know that our little guy is in great hands when he's with her.
April is a natural empath and lover of animals. More than most, her priority rests in what would make an animal happy and secure. Responsible, trustworthy, and kind, April would be a godsend to anyone looking for a loving, attentive petsitter, be it dog or cat. I have seen how she treats her own three cats and her dog, and I must say, they've really got it made – like little people, she treats them with dignity, respect, and makes sure they always have whatever they need. If I were to go away for business or vacation, I could go away without doubt that my beasts would be safe and in good hands with April. She's one of a kind!
