I've been unofficially pet-sitting for friends for years and worked at a humane society for almost 7 years working with pups, kittens, dogs, cats. My last dog I had lived to be 17.5 and was diabetic for 11 years of his life. Lots of special care was needed with him! I now have a senior schipperke + chi mix whom is my traveling companion, living our best lives. Right now I am open to doing this full-time if the income is flowing, but likely/eventually would like to spend part of my time working on passion projects and making income from other PT work locally or from home. I am open to working with your needs in your home for the level of care you prefer for your fur-companion(s) to ensure their safety. Flexible; prefer to foster and encourage positive behaviours and stay away from overly-controlling methods of correction. With Penelope I am working on continuing our bond thru telepathy and intuition; really being observant of her needs and the flow of our energy when we're out and about around other poochies. I practice off-leash walking with her but recognize this isn't the norm for most humans and will work with you and your needs. A cohesive environment is important along with open communication for expectations and needs from one another so the exchange of energy is reciprocal for all parties.
