All Around Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I was a kid. Growing up, I wanted to surround myself around the furry friends. I wanted to be able to give them all my love and attention, and make sure they get the chance to live a happy and healthy life. I volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society for about a year. I mainly walked dogs; from chihuahuas to great danes. I've even handled timid to the over excited. This gave me the opportunity to learn a lot about the behavior of dogs and how to handle them in certain situations. I live with my boyfriend, Jeff, who loves animals just as much as I do. He will also be helping taking care of your pet. We have a 1-year old holland lop named Athena. She is full of energy and loves exploring. She does get nervous when she gets to meet someone new but opens up. We also have a 9-year old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix named Bailey. He loves meeting new dogs and does not get aggressive for any reason. Both of our pets get along and love being around others. I would treat your furry family member the same way I would treat mine, with love. I will always care for their safety and make sure they are well taken care of. April was awesome. Very accommodating for a last minute over night stay. My pooch was happy and in good spirits when I picked him up and she kept me updated throughout the stay. Highly recommend.
My pup wasn't feeling very good today and I was very worried about leaving him. April reassured me and listened to my instructions; while giving me updates every couple hours. Thank you April!! Winston will see you soon :)
April was very on top of keeping me updated, she has took my husky to the dog park twice and a 45 mins walk while I was gone for 12 hours. She is very flexible and glad she has accepted to day care my dog last min. My husky got home very exhausted and she was happy being with April.
April was very accommodating, from our meet and greet to our drop off/pick up times. She was also very quick to our responses prior to and the day of Hoku's daycare. I appreciated the updates and pictures of Hoku! It was good to know Hoku was well taken care of and having fun! Thanks again, April!

A typical day
If the weather permits, I will take our dog to the dog park. I usually stay there for at least an hour. Other times, there is a walk area in our apartment complex which would give us a good 15-20 walk.
