Hi there! My name is April, and my adventure buddy is a Sheltie named Maya. I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid growing up on a small farm in Tennessee, and I'm currently working as a Veterinary Technician. We recently moved to Universal City, Texas, and I'm looking for part-time pet care jobs. I have dog sat for friends and professors, performing general house sitting duties as well as taking the pups out for potty breaks and play time, and feeding and giving meds. I've also taken care of other pets (cats, birds, reptiles, fish). I would love to help out with any of your dog sitting, walking, or check-in needs! This was the first time, I used April to take care of both of my babies (Ziggy & Zoe). Zoe is diabetic and I love the fact she has experience giving insulin shots because she is a vet tech. My babies felt very comfortable on our meet and greet with her. She came over couple of days before her first drop-in visit to go through our routine. She understands for our situation the time is very important to stick too. She did a great job following the process which made me feel at ease. Zoe was diagnosed in December 2016 being Diabetic; which limited us to being able to get up and go for a long period because we are injecting her twice a day. Thanks April in giving us her dog care services and I look forward in using you again in June.
