April has been pet sitting for us for many years, and always does an excellent job with our golden retriever. She treats him as if he’s one of her own dogs and spends a lot of time making sure he gets ample amounts of exercise, and attention. She also provides regular updates, and pictures. I have experience with any and all breeds and temperaments. I would like to know their behavior in different situations and how you typically engage during training.
A typical day
You decide how much exercise your pet needs and for how long, and I’ll take the fun from there! I am comfortable taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood, or longer hikes as you see fit. I charge the same rate no matter how long we walk. You’ll advise me where you’d like us to go, or if you prefer a trail hike, I have decades of experience in the area and have a plethora of safe areas to walk.

Availability
My veterinary training business allows me the flexibility to meet many different needs in and out of the house. I know what to watch for in illness or injury and understand the complexities of dealing with emergencies while you are away. It can mean all the difference in the world. If timely medications are required, I am happy to accommodate. My dog walking rates are for ANY amount of time you want us to walk for. If your dog wants to go for an hour and a half, my rate is the same. The dogs that need it, really need it. I am happy to give them all the time they crave to run around, sniff, and be a dog.
