Pet care experience
I’ve been called a dog whisperer. Dogs and I have always had an excellent connection. I grew up with dogs and have trained 2 guide dogs. I have experience with consistency and cuddles working magic with all types of canines! I can teach simple tricks and commands, given enough time. I am willing to play and walk in all weather and my 3 children will respect and love your dog too. My availability is flexible, granted your dog is child and cat friendly. We are a family of dog lovers and understand the importance of providing gentle reassurance to even the most timid dog. Whether on a walk or lounging at home, your dog will be respected and loved. We have a fantastic large fenced yard with a water feature (pictured) and wooded trails just up the road that we love to walk and run through. I am looking forward to meeting your pup and you!

It’s been over 3 years and Owen and I still miss having April sit for us. She is amazing and if you live by her you must absolutely take your pet there. We have moved across the country and still think about and wish she was here for our weekly puppy dog sitting days! ? trust me when I say they will be in good hands!
April watched our doggie recently while we were on a family trip. We felt it was best for our anxious senior doggie to stay at our house, so April checked in on her there. She also checked in on our cats, hamster, and fish! We never worried about our furry friends and April sent us regular updates- she even brought out the playful puppy in our sweet doggie. I would highly recommend April for any pet care jobs!
April was very communicative and shared many photos of our sweet boy. I felt uneasy about leaving him with anyone, but was quickly put at ease once I realized how attentive April is! I highly recommend April.
April made me feel so safe with Ollie and I know he had the best time with her family. I truly appreciate her pictures and updates on him everyday and I highly recommend April as a reliable and trustworthy sitter.

I would like to know how the dog is with children and ask that we do a meet and greet to assess compatibility. I prefer larger dogs, but have experience with small ones too.
A typical day
We have a fantastic, large, fenced yard for chase, fetch and tumbles. Walks to the nearby park and wooded trails are an absolute! I also play sniff-it-out games and teach new tricks.

Availability
As I am home all day, and have a large yard, we will spend the day either playing out side, taking walks or relaxing in the kitchen or living room. There will be times during the day that I will need to pick up my kids or run errands, so being able to be crated or left alone for an hour or two once a day is necessary.
