Pet care experience
With my referral, you get $20 off your first booking with me! I look forward to making your stay cheaper, safer, and a pawsome time for your pet! I have acquired dog care experience through Pack Pet Resort, a pet boarding and daycare facility in Indian Trail, for 7 months. I chose this job to learn how to take properly care of my own fur baby, Casper, and apply those skills to other pet owners. I continue to build my pet care experience through Rover and private contracting. I have been trained on administering medications, basic dog training skills and obedience, and basic grooming maintenance.

April does an excellent job taking care of my Heidi baby! My dog can be a teensy bit anxious and April did an excellent job making sure Heidi was comfortable and getting used to her. Heidi and April love each other now! Would highly recommend April to take care of your fur babies!!
April did a great job. I was stranded in Texas with the weather and she really saved me by extending the drop-ins until I was able to get home. She gave me constant updates. I would recommend her to everyone.
April is a super nice young lady and did an outstanding job caring for my cats & dogs for a long weekend at my home with drop-in visits. She communicated so well and sent photos every visit. I am a very tough client as I am a full time pet sitter and she was so easy going about my OCD quirks and frets. She put me right at ease! I couldn't be more pleased!
April is excellent with dogs, very knowledgeable and caring. She treats every dog like they are her own. She goes above and beyond making sure every dog is well cared for and happy. I would highly recommend her!

Currently, I am unable to provide in-house daycare or boarding at my own home due to lack of space. However, I know of many parks in Colorado Springs I can bring dogs for safe play, long walks or runs, and exploration!
Information April B. would like to know about your pet
I would like information regarding your dog’s age, breed, feeding/medication requirements, and any incident reports. I am willing to take care of dogs with incidents, but I will NOT accept clientele with aggressive dogs (as I am currently untrained to handle aggressive dogs). I’m particularly fond of herding breeds, such as Australian Cattle Dogs, German Shepherds, Collies, and Shetland Sheepdogs.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on hourly walks in the neighborhood, which includes access to a back road in the woods. With special permission from the owner, I also know of several parks within close proximity to my home that are within driving distance. During breaks at home, I enjoy providing lots of attention. Depending on the age and temperament of the breed, I provide off-leash play, basic obedience and training sessions, and cuddle breaks during our time together.
