Play, walk, and cuddle all dogs

Pet care experience

I grew up with several dogs in the family and am currently taking care of a golden retriever/black lab mix of cuteness (2 yrs old). Thus, I understand how much care and attention these pets need, as well as how important they can be to the families that care for them. As an active trail runner, frisbee player, and avid walker, I can guarantee a fun and enjoying walk, no matter the energy level of my four-legged companion. I work well with small, medium, and large-sized dogs and have a special place in my heart for young puppies as well as old, less energetic (but loving) dogs. As a true dog lover, I also guarantee that I will always treat your pet with respect and will be sure to take into account any special needs they might have.

Apple was wonderful and took great care of the pups. They were super happy with all of their walks and playtime. Apple sent updates and pictures while we were away. She even went back by to take the pups out when we realized we wouldn’t be getting back till later! I will definitely use Apple again in the future!

Apple was absolutely wonderful while watching our dog. She took phenomenal care of our dog. Apple is hard working, caring and professional. My fiancé and I knew our dog would be in good hands when Apple was around. Will definitely be booking her in the future and if a chance to give more than 5 stars, we would!

Apple was extra patient with my energetic pup and provided him with the exercise he needed by running with him. She knew when it was too hot for him to be outside for long. Very responsive and a great sitter!

We are so happy that Apple was available to walk Koda in such short notice. Not even the rain stop these two to take more than a mile walk. We came home to a happy dog and I loved seeing the photos and the route they took. Thanks again Apple!

Information Apple L. would like to know about your pet

For all Rover service options, I would like to know in advance if your pet has food restrictions and any disabilities, physical restrictions, or special dog needs. If I will need to provide medication to your dog, please detail how much and how often. Currently, I do not feel comfortable administering injected medication to dogs and will reach out to your vet if this is needed (and not previously discussed) during my care.

A typical day

***Walks with me*** Dogs are hands-down the best walking/running companions and I do not mind walking outdoors in any type of weather. Prior to going on a walk with your pooch, I will check in with you first to get the following information: - How far you would like your pet to go, and for how long (would your dog like to go for a long jog followed by a game of fetch at the dog park, or would your pet prefer a brisk walk around the block with a break or two in between). - Does your pet do well in heat, rain, or snow? On hot days, I typically intersperse walks with water breaks in the shade or come back early for playtime indoors. If your pet requires a cooling jacket, or has a strong aversion to being outdoors in certain weather, please let me know. - Has your furry one been socialized or have a history of aggressive behavior towards other dogs? If so, I can make sure your dog stays in safe space and avoids contact with other dogs on walks or at parks. - Snacks. Most dogs are hungry dogs and I like to reward my clients' dogs for being good doggos. Are snacks/treats allowed and how much. Would you like for me to bring my own treats?
