Hello, my name is Apolonia and I have many years of experience with dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and birds. I currently work at Lutheran Hospital. My hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm, I do not work weekends ever. My experience includes veterinary hospitals, dog show handling/training (I know and understand the special handling that goes into having a show dog), animal shelter, IDEXX lab (this is where your very seems the blood work), and of course pet sitting for all kinds of pets. In addition to my animal experience history I also have worked in healthcare, and have experience taking care of the elderly and working with the very sick. I am a very punctual, trusting and a very kind individual. I have worked with every size of dogs from tea cup Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I am also able to work with dogs that are not the most stranger friendly or have other social difficulties. I also am familiar with the taiming and hand feeding process of cats and birds. While I worked at the no-kill animal shelter I was the to go to person for any aggressive/fearful dog or cat, I love being able to show them that people can be trusted and loved. I am able to give medications (glucose checks, oral, topical and inject-able as long as the pet allows for them to be safely given), as well as special care for seniors, and the physically and emotionally challenged dogs. If your pet is under medical care I always follow doctor instructions 100%.
