I love animals and now have skills - e.g. can administer insulin to cats, know basic first aid, etc. I'd love to take care of your cat or dog in and around your home whenever you need! I have had my cat for 5 years in NYC, take care of my boyfriend's Yorkie mix regularly. He's in the picture at the dog park. I also grew up with a Golden Retriever, Samoyed, and black cat.

I have known Aparna for nearly twenty years and have been a dog owner for just as long. Aparna is an ideal caregiver: dependable and warm. She has the perfect balance of being energetic and relaxed- so it’s just as easy for me to see her sprinting through the park with a golden doodle as it is to picture her chilling with two pugs on a couch. Aparna is also a long time New Yorker and an expert gardener- so she’s almost never lost and she can maybe even share her green thumb wisdom while she cares for your furry friends.

I'd prefer to take care of your pet in your home as I have a cat in mine. After your pet and I get to know each other, I might be able to board him/her at my place. I live in an apartment with a fenced outdoor rooftop space.

If your pet has special needs, please let me know. I can administer insulin, oral medication, and can do basic first aid - though you will need to walk me through the corner two things (each animal is an individual, after all)!
A typical day
Your dog and I will go on walks - I love to go out to Hudson River Park or the east side promenade. There are also 2 dog parks near my place. If you have a cat, he/shey/they and I will hang out at your place and have fun with the cat teasers and other toys.
