Detail oriented and fun loving. I’m guilty of anthropomorphism with all animals … (I don’t think that should be a word though … animals are people) (See what I mean?) I’m a firm believer that animals are what make this world bearable and better. I took care of my first dog starting at age 6 and have always had animals around me. I volunteered in raptor rehab and at the Boise zoo and peregrine fund. I love to build ponds and yes I am a crazy squirrel guy.

Wow, Aodhan is a total rockstar. He took such great care of my special needs dog and kept me updated about everything. I was nervous leaving her home the first day but I was totally at ease by the second. My dog loved him from their first meeting and I’m so happy to have found such a professional and kind human to take care of my baby. I would definitely recommend Aodhan and I plan to use him next time I need a dog walker.
Aodhan is an incredible human. He exhibits great patience, respect, and kindness toward all people both human and animal! Aways on time, always prepared, a fantastic problem solver, Aodhan takes his commitments very seriously. He communicates wonderfully with both people and animals. There is no one I trust more with my beloved dog than him.
I have known Aodhan for over 10 years and have never met anyone better at adulting than this guy, particularly when it comes to caring for his own pets, and those of his family and friends when he pet sits. Down to the details of feeding his little canine, Dexter, with only the freshest home-cooked meals. Aodhan is conscientious and always errs on the side of safety, remembering details like locking his front door in case a sudden wind event blows it open and allows his beloved Dexter to get out. I would trust Aodhan with my pets any day and didn’t hesitate to select him as my dog sitter for my black lab while I was away for a month in Bolivia. I can’t emphasize enough his attention to detail and his love of furry friends.

It depends on the needs of my client. I have cared for. Variety of pets, from fish, chickens, snakes, dogs and cats. Each situation is unique. I came from a family that had to learn to speak for those who can’t. Our dog eats before we do, their water is checked multiple times a day. When I come home I let my dog out, before I leave I let my dog out, every 2 hours I let me dog out…. When my dog is at my mom’s for the night I think about him every 20-30 minutes even when he isn’t there. Taking care of another person is in me, if I’m hungry, are they hungry? If I’m thirsty, are they thirsty? There’s no trick to empathy, you just wonder if anyone else is feeling or needing what you do….
