Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Anya—a 20-year-old with two and a half years of hands-on experience at a doggy daycare and a background from a veterinary hospital. Pets have been my lifelong passion, and I take pride in caring for them. I've administered medicine, own a reliable car, and have had animals throughout my life. Bunnies, cats, dogs are all familiar to me but I'd love to meet some less common pets as well! I recognize that each furry friend is unique, with their own needs and quirks, and I cater to them with care. My reliability, keen attention to detail, and the patience cultivated through my experiences ensure that your pets are in the best hands possible. From playtime to medical requirements, consider it handled. They'll be under the care of someone who truly comprehends and cherishes their well-being. And when the weather gets tough, I prioritize your furry friend's well-being. I adjust walk durations to guarantee their comfort because, for me, safety and happiness are the top priorities, no matter what the weather throws our way. If your dog has snow boots/jacket Im totally okay with suiting up for snow! Dangerous weather will be avoided. Book with confidence for a caring and reliable pet care experience! If you're looking to have your dog boarded at my house; I live in a two story house with my dog and three cats. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, great! Not so much? We can use our doggy door to keep both dogs on a separate floor. The kitties will most likely stay away from stranger danger but as long as your pup doesn't have an extreme prey drive towards cats then they're welcomed!
Reviews
Anya was great! Our dog Zuko came home tired and happy. Her quiet and large fenced in hard was wonderful too.
Anya is our go-to dog walker and Toby loves her! She’s reliable, flexible and trustworthy. Toby always gets a good walk and comes back tired. Highly recommend!
Anya took such great care of my pup! She was responsive to messages and even took my booking last minute! Would definitely recommend her!

Caring for pets in either my home or the client's home involves several key components, and the approach may differ based on the chosen service. Here's an overview of how I typically provide pet care: In My Home I have a fully fenced in yard, three cats that are dog-friendly, and a four year old cavalier/poodle mix. Preparation: I ensure my home is pet-friendly and safe. This includes securing any potential hazards, providing designated spaces for pets, and having necessary supplies. Daily Routine: I maintain a consistent daily schedule that includes feeding, exercise, playtime, and bathroom breaks. This helps pets feel secure and comfortable. Health and Safety: I monitor the pet's health and well-being closely. This involves keeping an eye on their behavior, addressing any medical needs, and administering medication if required. Social Interaction: I provide companionship and social interaction, ensuring pets feel loved and not lonely while their owners are away. In the Client's Home: Initial Consultation: I meet with the client to discuss their pet's needs, routines, and any specific instructions. This helps ensure a smooth transition for the pet. Feeding and Medication: I follow the established feeding schedule and administer any required medications as per the client's instructions. Exercise and Play: I engage with the pet in activities they enjoy, whether it's walks, playtime, or simply spending quality time with them. Safety and Security: I maintain the client's home's security and cleanliness, ensuring doors are locked and the pet is safe. I also clean up after the pet and dispose of waste properly. Communication: I keep the client updated on their pet's well-being through regular updates and photos, giving them peace of mind while they're away. Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared to handle any emergencies or unexpected situations, including knowing the location of the nearest veterinary clinic. In both scenarios, my primary goal is to create a comfortable and nurturing environment for the pet, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and safe while their owners are absent.
