Hi, I'm Anya! I grew up with a Newfoundland and a tabby cat. I currently have my very own 11 month-old calico, Blue, & often care for my housemate's hound/doberman mix puppy, Harper. I am a gentle and firm animal-caretaker, love to go on long walks, and have a car to pick your pup up for adventures. I'm comfortable with all sizes/energy levels/ages. My experience with cats and dogs as a child—seeing them grow and train—helps me be the enthusiastic and loving caretaker I am now. I found Blue on the street at 3 weeks old, and so was responsible for getting her vaccinated and spayed, and for providing near-24-hour care for the first few months of her life. I also often help walk, feed, watch over, and train Harper. Additionally, I have experience administering medication daily to older animals and have house/pet-sat. I have a flexible and rotating schedule at a local restaurant, meaning that my availability often changes; however, if I develop a strong relationship with you and your animal companions, I am able to dedicate specific times of the week for their care in the long-term.
