I have many years experience caring for pets as I used to live on a small holding for 10 years with animals including dogs, horses, goats, chickens, ducks etc. My family have had dogs my entire life and I now live solo with a dog of my own, the beautiful Maude. I ended up adopting her as I was fostering dogs for a local charity at the time and she came to me due to being stressed in the kennel environment and needed some help relaxing. She had severe anxiety when she first arrived as she found the world very scary, but we clicked instantly and I knew the day she came to me that I wanted to keep her. Since then she has found her feet and her confidence has grown more than I ever thought it could and she is the best dog I could ever ask for. My experiences with fostering led me to expanding my knowledge on dog body language, positive reinforcement training and how to communicate with dogs with a whole new perspective. Also, I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs and dogs with impaired vision. I love all animals and treat them with a kind and gentle attitude, giving them the care they need.
