We are a dog family!!
Pet care experience
I have taken care of my sheltie since she was eight weeks old. We lost her to CHF l before Covid when she was around 13. I love dogs and since we’re not quite ready to bring in another dog I wanted to take this time and take care of others dogs. In our house we treat dogs as family members. I have a ten year old who absolutely loves dogs and is very gentle with them. We would only host one dog at a time as we are doing this not for any other reason but due to our love of dogs.
Reviews
Anusha and Ananth created a warm atmosphere for my puppy. Their care and compassionate nature helped my puppy feel at home with them. Cannot thank them enough. Sind it was his second time with a sitter, he and we were a little anxious, they sent pictures of their walk and play, constant notes on how he was doing put at ease. They are the best.
Caring, conscientious and communicative. Could not ask for better caretakers for our dog!
Anusha is fantastic! I can’t recommend her enough - I will be coming back for sure. She went above and beyond caring for our puppy. I’m grateful!!
Carly loved her first stay. I could tell she wanted to stay awhile longer! Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience for her and us.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in pool area and a nice backyard. I don’t really ever let the dog out without a leash in the non-fenced area of the yard. We have a beautiful community where I can take the dog for a walk. I can also crate the dog if that is the preference.

Information Anusha & Ananth G. would like to know about your pet
We can only watch dogs that are housebroken/potty trained. I recently found that I develop allergic reaction with dogs with short hair. So at this moment we are NOT able to watch dog breeds that have short spiky hair (e.g. labs, beagles). However we are OK with hypoallergenic breeds and breeds with long hair (like Shitzu, shelties, golden retrievers, collies, etc.) We would prefer that the dog is crate trained because of an accidents during nighttime with some of the dogs we watched. If the dog is not prone to accidents during the night, then they don’t need to be crate trained. We would like to know if the dog is friendly, does well with kids (we have one), if the dog walks well on leash, any medication that needs to be given, food timing, emergency contact, and veterinary details and any other pertinent details that we should know. One small favor - before you board the dog if you can give him/her a quick brush that would be awesome. I’m not allergic by any means, but I do get a little bit of a scratchy throat only with very short haired breeds. Thanks in advance Note: Please do let me know if your dog has extreme separation anxiety, for example, the dog is not used to boarding/staying away from home and has extreme separation anxiety that might cause undue stress on them.
A typical day
