Pet care experience
I am a uni student studying business and japanese, love hiking and the outdoors. Never owned a dog but have been dog-sitting and walking dogs since two years ago. I am good with animals, love them. I can try training your dog if you would like, nothing guaranteed as I am no professional :) but will do my best in everything I do. No problem with bathing or washing your dog, and brushing. But no grooming experience so I would not like to clip their hair or nails. I am free all summer so very flexible with days and hours. I live in an apartment on capitol hill, can house one dog per day for dog-housing. No backyard but very close to many parks. Also I can come over and dog-sit for you.

My kitties loved Anu as soon as she met them! She is very sweet and gentle-natured. I have a high maintenance pet care routine and she had no problem sticking to it. She sent pics and was very communicative via text while I was away. I was able to relax and fully enjoy my time away knowing that Anu was taking care of my cats and they were happy as can be when I returned!
So happy that I chose Anu to look after my little curious and over the top energetic beagle puppy. She made sure to remind me the day before the sitting to pack all of my dogs toys, food, snacks, accessories etc. Anu was also very flexible with scheduling which helped a ton since I was traveling out of town. There were multiple updates throughout the day so didn’t have to worry about the pup at all. My dog was taken on plenty of walks and basically collapsed into my lap upon bring her home. I would highly recommend Anu has a dog sitter/walker and will definitely he using her again!

No breed preference, but please let me know if the dog has trust issues or is not good with strangers. Or if they have any traumatic experiences and if loud noises and such will trigger that, and what I can do to make sure they are comfortable and can feel safe.
A typical day
If you bring toys (their own plush toys, frisbee, tug-of-war type ropes, etc.) I will play with your dogs. And there are many parks around where we can play fetch, tug-of-war, or just some good belly rubs while laying on the grass.
