Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets since I was a child. I use to pet-sit for my parents friends dog/cat. My current pets are treated like my kids, and I have an array of cats and dogs. All of my cats adapted me, and become part of my family. I always talk to them, as if they were a human child. I’m a Huge animal Lover! I will break for a turtle crossing or rescue animal left on a highway.

Once again…Antonnette took great care of our boy! He’s sad to see her go 🤣
Antonnette is the BEST! She has dog/house sat for us twice and we’ve already booked her for future sits. She is awesome at sending updates/pics and such a pleasant, trustworthy person. Antonnette is always willing to go the extra mile to make our dog feel secure and happy as well as looking after our home. She loves on our dog like he’s her own and we are so appreciative that when we are away from home that our boy is happy and healthy. I cannot recommend her enough!
I definitely recomment Antonnette for the dog care position. She is responsible and careing. She exhibits a stable and caring personality for people and pets. I would trust her to care for my pet anytime and that measn more than anything. My dog is my family. Please consider her for this position. You won't be disappointed.
Antonnette is great with animals. Every since the first day I met her, she always been taken in the Homeless dogs. Taking care of them, then trying to find them a home by turning them into the proper agencies that will help find them a home. She has a very big heart for Animals and they are her passion. She always rescues the homeless animals and getting the care they need on top of her own pets she has and my service Dog. She very reliable and dependable and would be great to hire for your animal care.

I feed my fur babies in order, cats first then my dogs. The dogs are in order. This prevents quarrels amongst each other. They are conditioned to go to their designated feeding are. I watch all of them eat. Cat boxes are always cleaned before feeding time. The dogs go to their rooms (aka kennel) and wait to go outside, one or two at a time to poop/pee. They can take a good while, but they always let me know when they are ready to come back, inside my home. I make sure to immediately pick up their poop, it prevents the others from stepping on it. I try to water the grass that they poop in. I figure the water hose can act like an outdoor flushing toilette. I have a cat that will pee in my sink. I now have a hospital tub for her to pee in, instead of my sink. She’s k e of the many ways I accommodate and at the same time I prevent her from peeing in my sink. My cats will let me know if I missed a day of cleaning their cat box, they will protest and pop/pee in my dirty laundry basket, bed sheets, or anywhere the. Feel they can reach my attention that the cat box is way too full. Now, I make it a point to clean their box twice a day. There have been a couple of ER visits. If I see they are not themselves, and it’s serious, I will waist no time to take them to the nearest ER. If it’s not major, I keep an animal first aid kit that has bandages, Neosporin and witch hazel.

A typical day
I love to cuddle with my cats, talk to them, and occasionally sing. sometimes, I overdue it with cuddling, Princess, my 5 lb, 13 year old Shtz/toy poodle, she is a dog mix, will let me know right away when I’m invading her space, her eyes get really huge. I treat all my pets as if they are people. I know they understand me, my husband’s service dog, Ranger, the German Shepherd, will open doors for my husband when I tell her too. Yes, fur babies are my extension of kids. All my cats and dogs are spoiled with lots of toys, expensive food, lol, and love. All are dogs are rescue animals and the cats were abandoned kittens that made their way into our hearts and home. The cats are sensitive ti my husband’s PTSD and they will all surround him, with purrs. They, too, help with his anxiety. I feel I have awesome critters that need us as much as we need them. When I have friends over, they always think it’s cool that my home doesn’t smell nor look like a zoo… I devote tume, everyday, cleaning cat boxes, mopping, sweeping, and making the home cat proof fro climbing on areas that is not acceptable to making sure the dogs and cats have space within our home. It feels like a farm but the rewards are endless!!
