Everybody wants to be a cat!

Pet care experience

I will take care of your cats while you're away and they will be returned to you the same way you left them, it really can be as easy as that. I already have all the supplies, (wet food, dry food, litter, litter box, bowls) so you'd have to bring only the cat(s). Of course if your kitty has any "favorites" then feel free to bring those too! I left my little two-year old cat, Theo, with Antonio over the Christmas and New Years break at the end of 2023. When I picked my little man, Antonio definitely kept him company and attended for. Antonio also provided all the food and litter and was given back everything I left with him. I was glad to pay or provide food, but Theo managed fine while there, and wasn't too picky upon his return home. I also got periodic updates. It's been a couple weeks now and feel like this was a great fit for any future boarding considerations.

Safety, trust & environment

My cats are outdoors so indoors is all visitor-cats domain. There is lots of space and places to hide and sleep. Above the refrigerator, on top of the audio/video receiver, in a closet, in a playpen, shelves, or one of the many cardboard boxes are popular sleeping spots. Visitor cats are never let outside. The last thing I want is to have to explain how your cat got lost and ask how can I make it up to you. I'm good at doing roll-call / taking inventory of cats and I think I know all the possible hiding places. But every now and then there's a cat that teaches me a new hiding place.

Information Antonio D. would like to know about your pet

Please be prepared to leave their carrier behind - the cats often like to be in them and it helps facilitate picking up the cat at the end of the stay, I can have them already in the carrier and brought out to you. Sometimes it takes several minutes to chase or coax them into the carrier so I can do that before you get here.

A typical day

Feeding: - 90% of the time it's wet food in the morning, dry food in the evening, fresh water every day or more if the level is low. - I can of course accommodate other routines / feeding requirements such as mixing medicine into their food, separate feeding areas for cats needing to eat specific food, etc.
